AMMANN

AMMANN company was founded in 1869. In 1911 the first static roller was designed. The characteristic feature of this machine was presence of 2 drums: the first - for compaction, the second – for control.

The engine was directly connected to the compaction drum. Due to this innovation the main AMMANN GROUP activity was changed.

The company’s subdivision dealing with the compaction equipment has grown and now is the main AMMANN GROUP area. The machines and mechanisms are designed and produced at Germany and Switzerland factories. 

Vibratory plates and vibratory compactors of different modifications and small rollers are produced in Germany while two-axle vibrating roller – in Switzerland. High reliability and low operating costs as well as ease of control are the key factors for all the AMMANN production during its design and production.

"SDT Service" PLC has been the official AMMANN GROUP distributor performing AMMANN equipment supply to the Russian market and its warranty and post-warranty service since 1998. Dozens of state and private construction organizations in Russia have chosen the compaction equipment by AMMANN that helps them to fulfill timely and effectively the construction of the times.
